How we rank, and who we are
DME Computer Services in Omaha, Nebraska publishes this site. Listings were checked on October 14, 2026.
The sort
Every tool, including ours, gets the same points. Then we sort A to Z when the points tie.
- 4 points if the core job is free, not just a thin slice of a paid product.
- 2 points if it is freemium: a free plan exists, and a paid plan is how you remove the cap.
- 0 points if we could not confirm a price.
- 2 more points if you can finish the job with no account.
- 1 more point if the vendor says a credit card is not required.
Our tools do not get a bonus, and they are not pinned to the first slot. If a PaidPilot tool is first in a category, it is because those points put it there. Sponsored, when a spot is sold, is a label. It does not add points.
What we will not do
- No star ratings, no invented user counts, no fake quotes from customers.
- Pros and cons are observations from the vendor page, not reviews.
- If a number was not on the page we could quote, the listing says so.
- A paid placement stays labeled Sponsored and does not buy rank.
Made by us
PaidPilot (paidpilot.io) is a product of DME Computer Services. The invoice generator, quote maker, check maker, late fee calculator, and QR code generator are listed with a Made by us badge. Their competitors in this directory — Wave, Zoho Invoice, Invoice Ninja, PayPal Invoicing, Square, and the others in the same categories — use the same fields.
Checked and left off
These names were on the seed list. The URL was checked. They are not in the directory because we did not find an ongoing free plan.
- Google Workspace. The pricing page we loaded on October 14, 2026 offered a 14-day no-cost trial on paid plans (Starter and up). That is a trial, not an ongoing free plan, so it is not listed.
- Gusto. A plain request to gusto.com returned 403. The pricing page loaded in a browser fetch, and the only price we could quote was $49/mo. The page description says account setup is free. That is not a free payroll product, so it is not listed.
- DocuSign. The plans page loaded. The copy we could read did not show an ongoing free plan. A marketing line says you can try eSignature free, which we are treating as a trial, not a free tier.
- Dropbox Sign. The homepage loaded and offers a 30-day free trial. Paid plans on that page start at $15 per user per month, billed yearly. A trial is not an ongoing free plan, so it is not listed. The old /pricing path returned 404.
Sponsor prices and the empty payment button are on the sponsor page.
